A Very Late Christmas Book Haul

So, Christmas is long over. But since I just created this blog, I thought I might get away with a late post. So, let’s get started!

Christmas Book Haul

The books I got for Christmas!

The Knife Of Never Letting Go – Patrick Ness Fantasy

I saw Priscilla from thereadables review this and I knew I had to check it out. She does great reviews and I often agree with her opinion on books. If you don’t know her yet, go check her out! Hurry!

Ender’s Game – Orson Scott Card Science Fiction

A Sci-Fi classic. I’m so looking forward to reading this!

Do Andriods Dream Of Electric Sheep? – Philip K. Dick Science Fiction

…or Blade Runner. That’s the German title. Yes, seriously. Well, I love the English title and I want to read this Sci-Fi classic soon!

Die Nachtw├Ąchter (Night Watch) – Terry Pratchett Comical Fantasy

My favorite Disc World storyline is centered around the city watch of Ankh Morpork. I listened to the audio book years ago, now I’m excited to read it!

Shadowmarch – Tad Williams Fantasy

The first of four parts. I love Tad Williams and his writing. Otherland, which I have yet to finish, is so amazing! I don’t know much about this series, I don’t like to spoil myself before reading. But I heard it’s good!

Shadowrise – Tad Williams Fantasy

Third part in the series. I will have to get the second volume after reading the first.

The Name Of The Wind – Patrick Rothfuss Fantasy

After I saw maxiemagyx rave about this book, I had to get it. I hope it’s half as good as she says it is. Then it should be awesome!

Neuromancer – William Gibson Science Fiction

This book’s cover is filled with praise raving about how brilliant it is. I’m curious weather or not the book does that justice.

As you can see, I got quite a lot of Sci-Fi. I have neglected the genre in the past and my reading resolution for this year is to get to know this genre. I’m really excited to jump right into it!
